MATE Agadir, in collaboration with the Regional Academy for Education and Training, and in coordination with the Regional Inspectorate of Agadir, organizes a middle school study day on Tuesday April 29th, 2008 at the “Centre Régional Pédagogique”, Inezgane.

08:00 – 09:00: Registration
09:00 – 09:30: Opening speech
09:30 – 10:00: Presentation one: “Promoting extensive reading” - Mr Abdellatif Zoubair, ELT supervisor.
10:00 – 10:30: Presentation two: “Creative and Critical thinking: The missing practice”. - Mr Hassane

10:30 – 10:50: Discussion
10:50 – 11:05: Coffee break
11:05 – 12:00: Workshop one: “Fun Writing Activities: a bag of tricks” - Mr Ayad Chraa, EFL teacher.
12:00 – 01:00: Workshop two: Introducing “Go 4 English”. - Mr Miloud Najrane & Mr Abdelkader Assafir,ELT supervisor & EFL teacher
01:00 – 01:20: Round table & Recommendations
14:00 : Lunch (Restaurant TANIT, Aourir).Transport will be available.
15:30 : Visit Al-Maouz MiddleSchool and donate some books.
Participation fees: 80 Dhs.The fees include:
1-MATE membership.
2-Two MATE newsletters.
3-Forums.
4-Lunch.
PS:
As mentioned in the program, after lunch we’ll visit Almaouz middle school in Aourir so as to donate some books (short stories, readers, magazines…) to students who are in bad need of them. Please if you have any books that you want to donate, bring them with you on the day of the event.
